My Portfolio - Legoman - Lego Mifune
This is Lego Mifune. After making my APU, I knew I had to make Lego Mifune to pilot it. Actually I went into making the APU knowing that at the end I would make Lego Mifune. It was just something I knew I had to do. I can't have an APU without someone to pilot it. However, Mifune won't be piloting it forever. As soon as I can I'll make a new, more detailed, human looking pilot. I'm going to start as soon as I'm absolutely satisfied that the the APU is 100% complete. Don't worry though, these images will remain on the site till the end of time.

This image is based on the moment in the movie when Mifune shouts RELOAD!! and the Kid comes out and puts the ammo into the APU. This was my first idea of an image for the APU because at the time while I was modeling I had a wallpaper of Mifune shouting RELOAD!! (one of my favourite Matrix images) on my desktop. I have done the pose from 3 different angles, all of which I think look great and really show off the detail of the APU. |

Now this image is pretty much the same as the last one above, except for one detail, the arm is down instead of up. I did this after I decided that I wasn't actually sure how the arm of the APU went into the RELOAD!! position in the movie, so I changed it to make the arm look as if its in a more of a fighting position. I like it. |
