My Portfolio - Legoman - Lego James Bond

 

This is Lego James Bond. I went to see the new movie, Casion Royale, on the day of release, Friday 17th November 2006, and I absolutely loved it. I've always been a big fan of the Bond movies and I was even named after him so I had to make a version of Bond with Legoman. It wasn't hard to do, I had the image maps from my Lego versions of Rude, Reno and The Transporter that already had the suit and shirt so most of if was already done. All I had to do was darken the images and add a bow tie and cummerbund before adding them to the model and I had James Bond.

Thursday 30th November 2006 -
		This render is based on the part at the start of every Bond movie, where Bond walks across the screen and turns towards the camera (which is itself looking down the barrel of a gun) and shoots. In the top image Bond is wearing a proper tux, bow tie and all, and in the bottom one he is in just a suit with a tie. The surrounding image, the gun barrel, was drawn in Illustrator and put over the finished 3D render at the end. I like the images. I think doing an image based on this iconic scene is the best way for me to show a James Bond model.
