Polygons - 76,690 This model is the most detailed I've done yet. The thing that inspired me to make it was an APU that I saw on a forum which had already been modeled by someone. It was amazing and it didn't seem, from looking at it, to be that hard to do. How wrong I was. This beast has taken me about 2 weeks (give or take a couple of day) to finish. However, it was a labour of love. I totally love The Matrix movies and the fact that I've modeled something from them is great. To make it I used all the images from the APU section of the official Matrix site and repeated viewings of the Zion Siege in The Matrix Revolutions (I watched that 15 minute sequence every night of the 2 weeks I was making the APU). Like any modeling it was hard, and because my computers old, crap, slow, moribund it kept crashing with the amount of polygons. Which got me very frustrated a few times but I persevered and this is the final product. Hopefully its a good model. By the way, I plan on making a Captain Mifune character (the main APU pilot in The Matrix Revolutions) out of my Legoman to pilot the APU. Until I do that the APU must go unmanned. Eventually though, when I have Lego Mifune piloting the APU, the images I create will go into the Legoman section of the site. |

I now have Lego Mifune to pilot the APU, so if you follow this link you will go to the Legoman section of the site and this link will take you directly to Lego Mifune and the APU.
