Wednesday 28th February 2007 -

Another picture taken from Program. This one, in contrats to the last one, is taken from the start of the episode, when Cis is fighting the programs samurais. The image is from when she jumps in the air and the screen flashes with images of her kicking some ass.

I always like this image so when I finally got a comp with a DVD drive I decided to take a screencap of it and Illustrator-ise it.

I really like the end product but I should probably have put more effort into doing slash properly (i.e. adding in the lighting and whatnot) but like the last image it was done a while ago and I just forgot about it until now. Oh well.

Wednesday 28th February 2007 -

Another picture taken from Program. This one is taken from the end of the episode, when Cis come out the program to find that it was all a training exercise and that none of it was real.

The image isn't actually 100% finished, it's the screens and whatnot from the background. I was going to put them in but to be honest this image was done a while ago, I just forgot all about it, and I can't really be bothered to finish it right not. It'll probably get completed some time in the future but for now the foreground will have to be enough :-)

Monday 16th January 2006 -

Another picture taken from World Record, which makes this the third one from that single episode. Its cos I really like the style, the blocks of colour and the shading and everything, it all makes the images quite easy to recreate. World Record is also the same kind of animation as Program so taking into the account the images I've done for that episode aswell that means I've done 5 pictures in this style. I just love it.

Like the rest this image was quite easy to do and I think it ended up looking quite good ..... like the rest of my work, lol.

Sunday 15th January 2006 -

This image was taken from Beyond. Its a different animation style to the other images that I've done but I still kinda like it.

The picture wasn't that hard to do. I did have to think a bit about how to place the highlights in the hair without going over the outline, but I found a way, a way which was really simple once I'd figured it out. I like the picture, I think it turned out quite well.

Sunday 15th January 2006 -

I have to say first of all that I love this image, I don't mean mine but the original. I really liked the original image since I first saw it on the net somewhere and then when I watched the actual episode, Program. Its just an amazing picture that I've been wanting to recreate ever since but I was never able to find a decent screencap of it anywhere on the net ... until yesterday that was. I did a Google image search just to try and find some images from The Animatrix and I stumbled across a screencap of this. It was a pretty decent pic and a good enough size to be able to see it properly so it was just what I needed.

Anyway, I started recreating the image in Illustrator late last night, when I got most of it done, but like I said, it was late so I had to leave it and come back to it today to finish off a few bits. I love the style of the animation with the block colours and shading, a thing that made the picture very easy to make. I really like it.
