This wallpaper was a product of my last obsession with Linkin Park. Just before christmas 2004 I started listening to nothing but Linkin Park and I even started a LP website. This wallpaper came before the website though, which would explain why the websites layout and imagery is built around this image.

It started when after listening to LP I remembered that both the Reanimation and Meteora albums have an enhanced section which has a link that leads to an online website toolkit which is really useful and allows access to some really cool LP images. Whether you're looking for photos, logo artwork, whatver, this toolkit has it all. Anyway, after downloading the images I thought it'd be cool to put some to use and make something with them. I chose both the alternate LP logo and the Meteora cover artwork because I really like them, and after some experimentation I came up with what you see on this wallpaper. On the original image it didn't have the four small logos in the lower left corner. I later decided it would be cool to make that addition, so I made up the logos in Illustrator (yes, they were made 100% by me drawing them in Illustrator) and did the same thing to them with the Meteora artwork as I did with the main logo. The outcome is this wallpaper.

The story behind this wallpaper is pretty much exactly the same as the one above except for the fact that it took nowhere near as much time as the other wallpaper. Like the previous I got both images, the artwork and the logo from the online toolkit, which is linked to on the enhanced sections of the Reanimation and Meteora albums. Then I sort of just experimented with putting them together until I came up with the finished article you see here.
